As many of you know I was diagnosed with breast cancer in October 2022 and am still receiving treatment. The patients at Addenbrookes and no doubt also at Norfolk & Norwich Hospital are visibly supported by Macmillan with helpful suggestions, comforting words and practical freebies.

On 20 May 2023, Rob and Alastair (in my place as I will still be recovering from breast surgery) are taking part in a Mighty Hike of 26 miles along the picturesque Norfolk coastline to raise money for people living with cancer.

We have pledged to raise £500 between us and would appreciate any support in reaching this. It could go towards funding a Macmillan Support Worker for two days who could provide emotional, practical and financial advice to someone affected by cancer.
