TPPL 2004 mile Collective team walk, cycle or jog/run
The Procurement Partnership Ltd (TPPL) was formed in 2004 and is an organisation specialising in procurement solutions for the public sector. Each year we support a charity put forward by directors of the business. In 2021 we offered staff the chance to put forward their own charitable nominations, 2 of which have been selected for the business to support with it's annual charitable donation. In addition to this we are working collectively as a team to supplement the business' donations by carrying out an exercise challenge and fundraising through JustGiving.
From 01st September 2021 through to 28th February 2022, fourteen of our employees will be working collectively to cover 2004 miles through walking, cycling or jogging/running over a 6 month period. Whilst the task seems relatively straightforward and easily achievable, we are also carrying out the same challenge for a second charity, therefore 4008 miles is the total objective, throughout the darker cold months of winter. Given we are all busy people in our daily work and personal lives, the task seems much more challenging. Nevertheless, we will work towards our goals collectively aiming to surpass our fundraising goals for these 2 very worthy of charities.
