Story

The words spoken become a reality ..... Simon McCall; Barchester's Commercial Director suggested that we do a 'bike ride' to raise some money for the Barchester's Charitable Foundation, little did we know at that point what it meant in reality.

So here we are, a team of 'hobbyist' cyclist taking on a pre-determined route of 212 miles in July, from West Yorkshire to London through all 4 company divisions (North, Central, South, H&CC) whilst visiting as many facilities as possible. We are also inviting participants from each division along to join us for a day for the ride.

The cycle ride will be in aid of Barchester’s Charitable Foundation which helps older people to engage with their local community and we would want to raise as much money for this great cause as possible.

It is also important that the ride also recognise all our amazing people at Barchester Healthcare who have worked tirelessly in keeping our residents, patients and each other safe throughout the ongoing pandemic.

Please show us your support by giving generously.

Thank you

Our focus is about connecting or re-connecting people with others in their local community. We aim to give grants that will help people lead more fulfilled lives and reach their full potential.
