Story

Edward, Charlie, Jack L and Jack B are taking on the challenging Pedal, Paddle, Peak adventure race in support of Muscular Dystrophy UK.

With Muscular Dystrophy directly impacting the family of one of our team members, we have first-hand knowledge of how the condition can change the day-to-day lives of those living with it.

So, what actually is Muscular Dystrophy? Impacting over 110,000 children and adults in the UK, Muscular Dystrophy is a group of inherited diseases that cause progressive weakness and loss of muscle mass.

There's currently no cure, and in many cases, it limits lives. MDUK fund world-class research into treatments and cures as well as providing vital information, advice, resources and support for individuals and families living with these conditions.

The Pedal, Paddle, Peak adventure race will see us take on over 30 miles of cycling, a challenging kayak on Ullswater, and an ascent of the iconic mountain Hellvelyn, all within an approximate 8-hour window.

As part of the challenge, we’ve set ourselves the goal of raising £1,800 as a team. All donations, big or small, are greatly appreciated and will go a long way in aiding the work MDUK carry out.

Thank you!
