John and Tim are donning the most illuminous t-shirts you have ever seen and participating in the Great North Run to raise funds for BEEP Doctors (BASICS) Cumbria.

This charity enables volunteer doctors to bring enhanced clinical care to medical and traumatic incidents.

Given the amount of time the whole team put into providing this service we felt that running a half marathon was the least we could do.

Whilst the team enthusiastically volunteer their time to support the community, funds are certainly required to keep them equipped and in a position to continue utilising their skills in the pre-hospital environment.
