Story
On June 25th we will be setting off to climb the UK's National 3 peaks. The twist...? We will also be attempting to cycle the 490 miles between them! Starting from Snowdon we will cycle to Scafell Pike and then to Ben Nevis, climbing each of the mountains on foot as we go. To add to the challenge we have set ourselves a target of doing it under 72 hours, breaking the current women's record! We hope to help raise the awareness of women in cycling and show that we are capable of taking on these big challenges.
None of us have ever cycled this distance before. We are all pretty terrified but we've been putting in the hours of training and we're determined to do it! A huge motivation for doing this is to try and raise money for two fantastic charities, Kinder Mountain Rescue Team (KMRT) and The Trussell Trust.
Thanks in advance for any donations, kind words or support. It's going to be what motivates us to keep going and get us through the tough times.

About the Charities.
Cass is raising money for The Kinder Mountain Rescue Team. The KMRT operate on a purely voluntary basis and are on call 24 hours a day, 365 days of the year to assist members of the public on the hill or in urban search and rescue situations. All fundraising will go towards equipment and resources used on call outs. In particular, this fundraising effort will help fund a new defender ambulance which is essential for their quick and effective emergency support - they save lives.
Saoirse is raising money for The Trussell Trust which support a network of 1,200 food bank centres across the UK to provide emergency support to people who need it most. Since covid hit, there has been a 61% rise of food parcels required! Money donated will go towards supporting these food banks and tackling the structural issues that have led to people needing food banks.
