Story

The Walking IDers are taking part in STEP in September and challenging ourselves to walk 10,000 steps a day (or individual target of choice) during September.

We are doing this in support of The Charity for Civil Servants, who over the past 18 months, have continued to support civil servants during their times of need,. Even though they have had to cancel most of their fundraising activities due to the pandemic.

It's impossible to predict what life will throw at us. Illness, bereavement, relationship breakdown, money worries, the strain of caring for loved ones; are some of the reasons why people turn to The Charity for Civil Servants for help.

For 135 years, The Charity for Civil Servants has been there when life takes a turn for the worse, offering financial help, trusted advice and a listening ear. It's thanks to you that they can continue to offer this lifelong support to serving, former and retired civil servants and their dependents. Your generosity is changing lives.

So if you would like to support the team and the Charity please donate what you can - every penny counts!
