Story
Graham's Story. - This is probably my last chance to do this before my knees pack in completely for such long walks. I did manage the 3 peaks some 40 years ago but to my shame I had to retire part way round 4 years ago and have since had the nickname "two peaks" whenever out on the hills.
Emily's Story - Being in the Armed Forces fitness shouldn't be a problem. I did complete the challenge 4 years ago when the old man packed up. This time he will get round even if I have to carry him, or his rucksack at least.
Grace's Story - As the baby of the group this is my first attempt at doing all 3 in one go, so far I have managed Pen-Y-Ghent and Ingleborough. Really looking forward to this challenge.
Any additional sponsorship raised directly by our fundraisers goes directly towards the vital care provided by Pendleside. It costs £12,500 to keep the Hospice running for one day, so every penny that is raised is so important. You may never know exactly how your support will help but you can be assured that the impact your support will have on local families who can benefit from the Hospice services at one of the most difficult and emotional times will be huge and every so appreciated.
Thank you for supporting our Yorkshire Three Peaks fundraisers and the Hospice!
