The one good thing the last 18 months has done for us is pull us together as a family. So this year we have taken on two family challenges 500km (in 2021) plus walk up “a mountain” and Pen-y-Ghent is the best we have in yorkshire for little legs.

Cancer is horrid and has taken both our Margaret Plater‘s Grandma and Great Grandma to the litte legs so we take on this challenge and hope to support any other families that go through this in our local area by supporting The Kirkwood.

Through thick and thin, the good and the bad, The Kirkwood make a difference to the lives of those who need it most. From the largest towns and villages, to the furthest corners of Kirklees, The Kirkwood support life in all areas of our community, delivering dedicated, personal care and support to all those affected by a life limiting illness.
