In April 2023 our dear mum/sister was diagnosed with Motor Neurone Disease, sadly she passed away suddenly in May 2023. When she was diagnosed she wanted to be able to help and support the MND Association. We found the Winter Walk and told her we would do this to help her to support the MND Association, she said she would join us and we could push her in her wheelchair and she would be our tour guide (she had been our tour guide on previous London trips and she wasn’t always the best!)We would have loved to have been able to do this with her and are sad that she is no longer here to join us. On the 27th January 2024 we will be walking 26 miles around London (we weren’t quite up for a real marathon!) in memory of our mum/sister and to support a cause very close to our hearts. we plan on a day of lots of fun and laughter (and maybe a few tears).
