The determined dozen take on Toubkal

Raising money for Reuben's Retreat

Founded in 2012 after the loss of Reuben Graham, our mission is to relieve the distress of families who have suffered the loss of a child or have a child living with medical complexities. Every penny donated makes a huge difference to families. Thank you for being part of #ReubensJourney

Story

In 2021 prior to the trip being delayed collectively we’d raised £2176, thank you to those who sponsored us through the virgin giving site before it closed down.

We are a group of enthusiastic; maybe slightly crazy individuals that have collectively decided to challenge ourselves and are hiking to the summit of the highest mountain in North Africa, Mount Toubkal to raise money for Reubens Retreat. Toubkal’s summit is 4167 meters above sea level and is the highest summit of the Atlas Mountains in Morocco. We’ll be hiking for 3 consecutive days, at high altitude and over tough steep terrain sleeping in tents on the mountainside, sharing basic food and facilities. It’s going to be hard work and (hopefully) an amazing adventure.
