Story

As family and friends we are taking part in the BHF London to Brighton Bike Ride and cycling 54 miles for Dementia UK in memory of Marie England.

Marie lived with Dementia for many years. She was diagnosed with Vascular Dementia when the grandchildren were small. She was very affectionate and would always want to shower them with love but having Dementia meant she would often forget she had given them hugs and kisses so they would get extra!!

We are cycling for Dementia UK because we know how important a role the charity plays for other families in supporting them when they are struggling.
