Story

What on earth is it?

The Borderline Challenge is a one-of-a-kind endurance event across the Republic of Ireland, Northern Ireland, Scotland and England

We will cover 550km in 4 days. It combines cycling (400km), swimming (35km), and running (115km).

Taking place 13th-18th September, this is a world first undertaking.

How far?!

Cycle (Day 1); Sligo to Donaghadee - 225km

Swim (Day 2): Donaghadee to Portpatrick - 35km

Cycle (Day 3): Portpatrick to Gretna - 175km

Run (Day 4): Gretna to Tynemouth -115km

But why?

The majority of farmers surveyed across different studies believe that mental health is the biggest issue facing the agricultural industry.

Being from a large farming family we have seen first hand the need for the Royal Agricultural Benevolent Institution (RABI).

RABI studies show that around a third of farmers are considered "probably or possibly depressed" and nearly half of farmers surveyed by RABI reported experiencing some form of anxiety.

Now more than ever, the farming community need support from their networks and RABI.
