Story

Visit the breath-taking sandstone city of Petra with The Albion Foundation.

Embark on a five-day trek along the spectacular Jordan Trail, while raising important funds for the charity and experiencing the UNESCO World Heritage Site in all its grandeur.

From 5th October 2024, to 12th October 2024, challengers will trek over 72km through the exhilarating but rugged and tough landscapes of Jordan, camping along the way.

After pushing themselves to the limit and travelling through deep canyons and gorges, the challengers will reach the astonishing ancient Nabatean city of Petra and witness its remarkable beauty.

Jonathan Ward, Head of Partnerships, Events & Communications at The Albion Foundation, said: "After the great success of the Great Wall of China and Machu Picchu challenges, we're delighted to continue our partnership with Charity Challenge with our Trek to Petra.

"We're inviting supporters to experience the once in a lifetime opportunity with us, while raising crucial funds for The Albion Foundation."

To secure your space on the Trek to Petra, one of the seven modern wonders of the world, you’ll be required to pay a non-refundable registration fee of £375 and raise a minimum of £3,225 for The Albion Foundation as sponsorship.
