Story
Mark Davies, Mark Tointon, Clare West and I are about to take part in the Wordsworth Charity Walk to raise money for important equipment for the early detection of Cancer.
Cancer touches the lives of most families, at some point, often with devastating effects. With over 200 different types of cancer one in two people are likely to get cancer; Brown Dog aims to make a difference that will help improve the detection rates and improve the lives of those diagnosed with cancer. Our family team whole heartily want to support this charity to raise as much money as we can to ensure that vital equipment can be purchased to improve the lives of those who have a diagnosis, and, more importantly, support the purchase of equipment to detect the early signs. Having supported two close family members through a diagnosis and treatment, we know only too well how important it is to have a diagnosis and and plan in place quickly. All proceeds will go towards the purchase of a £30,000 ultrathin transnasal endoscope for the Leicester Hospital Trust which will be used to improve the early detection of cancer.
We aim to raise as much as we can to help cancer patients and their families.
If you fancy a challenge for a great cause come and join the Brown Dog family and enjoy one of our challenges/events as you raise sponsorship monies.
