Two teams of women (of a certain age!) Sarah, Eilidh, Leah, Gina, Jen, Claire, Ally, Judith and Ruth are coming together to challenge themselves, have fun and most importantly raise money for Action Medical Research https://action.org.uk/events/team-challenges/race-sun-brecon-beacons to do the incredible work they do to save children's lives. Some signed up believing the event to be a relay...#justsaying ...so, after recovering from the shock, are in deep training.

The event is being held in the Brecon Beacons on the 10th June and includes a 36 mile bike ride (climbing 1,000m), a 9.5 mile hike up to the summit of Pen y Fan and a 2 mile canoe across the Pontsticill Reservoir. Phew.
