Story

Myself and my husband Sean have decided to do something we’ve never done before. We are going to take part in the Cardiff Half marathon. We especially wanted to do something together to raise some money for a charity really close to our hearts, Noah’s Ark Children’s hospital in Wales.

I’ve agonised over what I should say here, and struggled to keep it concise. However, in a nutshell Noah’s Ark childrens hospital saved our son Lenny’s life. We could never repay or fully express our gratitude to the staff on the PICU ward and neither will we forget! The doctors, consultants, neurologists and the nurses. The nurses especially will always hold a special place in our heart, as they sat and monitored Lenny 24/7 the whole time he was there, kept us company, answered my 1000s of questions and were just so amazing.

If any money we may raise could help in saving a child’s life, or to just make their time in hospital a little more comfortable would mean that every effort and discomfort myself and Sean may endure would be totally worth it!

This is one’s for you Lenny- our brave little lion 🦁 ❤️
