Event: Ride For Precious Lives 2022, from 8 July 2022 to 10 July 2022
Ride for Precious Lives is our unique annual sponsored 205 mile, three day cycle challenge to raise money for short and precious lives.

Story

Paul and Me are doing the Ride for precious lives on the tandem. The route is a massive 215 miles from Charlton Farm hospice to Little Harbour Hospice in St Austell with a stop at Little Bridge House in Barnstaple on the way! The ride is over 3 days starting on July 8th so We are in full training mode and you will see us out on the tandem over the coming months whatever the weather! Feel free to stop us to donate!

We are doing the ride to raise much needed funds to support children and their families at the worst of times. Paul's son Leo was cared for and died at Charlton Farm in 2015. I am so very grateful to the hospice for getting Paul and his family through this most terrible time. I wasn't lucky enough to meet Leo, but he remains a huge part of our family now too.

I am all to aware that we can never predict the future or sadly when any of us may be unfortunate enough to need support from our local hospice. Please, please give what you can to help us continue their amazing work.

Thank you for supporting Children's Hospice South West.

This is an unprecedented time for everyone. For the wonderful children and families that we support, there are a great many additional challenges because of fear, lockdown and isolation to name but a few.
