Story

Our Sunday Club are a group of friends who like to have a few beers on a Sunday night before the 'shock' of being back to work on a Monday. We are all very good friends who have built up some amazing relationships over the years with some amazing memories. Unfortunately 18 months ago, one of the Club, Paul Yates became unwell and was unable to attend after a short time. Paul's illness was a brain tumour which unfortunately was too aggressive. Paul put up a very brave and dignified battle but sadly passed away in July 2022.

At the end of Paul's battle he was moved to Hospice IOM where he received amazing care from the team and after speaking to the family we want to raise as much as we can to enable this amazing care to continue for many years to come.

Our group is very mixed on running ability but we have started to train and have a huge incentive now to finish the half marathon course in November 2022.

Paul was a huge part of our lives and well loved and respected around the Island so please help us to help the Hospice Isle of Man.

Yatsey, Yatsey, Yatsey!!!!!

Hospice Isle of Man was founded in 1983 and over the years we have cared for over 8,000 patients, and those that matter to them. We deliver all of our services completely free of charge. We need to fundraise approximately £4.5 million each year in order to meet our £5million running costs.
