Story
Brighton & Hove has one of the highest levels of homelessness outside of London at over 3,500 people (Shelter-2023). The statistics also show that one out of every 78 people in the city is homeless.
The Clock Tower Sanctuary is the only drop-in day centre for homeless 16-to-25 year olds in the city. It provides vital practical and emotional support so that young people experiencing homelessness can move from crisis to stability.
It's a cause that some of the Sussex-based Stirred team are keen to support. In fact, the Clock Tower Sanctuary has been one of our beneficiary charities since we set up the business in 2021.
It's only one night out in the elements for us, and even that feels daunting. Help us to raise much-needed funds for this worthwhile cause.
£10 can pay for a young person to have a shower, wash their clothes and eat a healthy, hot meal.
£20 can pay for a new pair of shoes or clothing for a job interview or first day of work.
£200 can pay for training and supporting a volunteer to support a young person.
£500 can pay for a young homeless person to access all of the Clock Tower Sanctuary's support and facilities for two months.
