In 2018 many of you know that I was injured on duty. After my return to duty in 2020 I wanted to pay back the gratitude I felt from all those in the Policing family that helped in my recovery.

The amazing support that COPS give to the families of those who are killed on duty is beyond measure and when I found out that we could take part in Light the Lakes In order to both raise money, and remember those who have been taken from us too early, I jumped at the chance and roped a few others to take part when I took part in 2021 for the first time.

This year is my 4th year and most likely my last as I have further surgery planned later this year as my body is slowly starting to let me down and I am running out of steam to fight it like I have for the past 6 years.

I want to make this an amazing last push to raise some money for a Charity that is pivotal in the policing family for the future of families that don't even know they are going to need it in the future years.
