Story

We have always wanted to run the London Marathon and decided 2022 was the year to apply to raise money for Diabetes UK. In 2021 Jess (Cath’s daughter) was diagnosed with type 1 and Roger (Abs’ dad) was hospitalised due to complications linked to his type 2. This gave us the joint goal and drive to take the plunge and commit to completing our first marathon together.
