Story

Like many charities and businesses the current pandemic has had a devastating impact on Exeter Leukaemia Fund (Elf)'s revenue with mass event cancellations and charity shop closures.

Throughout the pandemic Elf have offered additional support to vulnerable blood cancer patients and families shielding in their homes. These services include delivering essential shopping supplies, medication prescriptions and telephone befriending for isolated patients.

Over 600 patients with blood cancer and related conditions are treated at the RD&Es Haematology Centre each week. These life-changing conditions, affecting not only the patient but all those close to them. Exeter Leukaemia Fund (Elf) offers free individualised support to everyone who needs it. Our aim is to make life easier and less stressful during what can be a very difficult time.

Your support will help Elf continue supporting patients and families, at home, in the community and at the RD&E Hospital.
