ABOUT OUR TEAM:

We're a group of friends who have come together to run the Edinburgh Half Marathon on behalf of British Heart Foundation to raise as much donations and awareness to the life saving research they do. We're a bit of a dysfunctional team, and by no means professional runners, but we strive to do our best and do our friend Marcus proud who sadly passed away early this year.

WHO WE'RE DOING THIS FOR:

Marcus Baxter was a friend to so many and we all hold a special place in our hearts for him. Unfortunatley Marcus passed away on the 4th of January 2023 at the terribly young age of 26. Despite the curveballs his heart threw at him over the years he never stopped laughing, smiling and lighting up every room. Marcus lived everyday as if it was his last, making memories with his friends and family that we all will now treasure forever. He truly was one of a kind and I hope we do you proud.
