We are raising money for Research ALK +ve. Research ALK +ve was formed in lockdown by a group of friends and family, frustrated by the fact that lung cancer research is sadly underfunded despite its high mortality rate.

Research ALK +ve is the only UK charity dedicated to raising money for exclusive alk positive lung cancer research. ALK positive lung cancer is on the increase worldwide in younger, female nonsmokers.

Our inspiration Kay was diagnosed at just 17 years old. If you have lungs you or your loved ones can get lung cancer.

Kay sadly died on 1/7/23 aged just 24, our work will continue in her memory, as it's thanks to all the researchers & the brave previous ALK patients who participated in clinical trials that gave Kay 7 years and 2 months with lung cancer.
