Abdulai Faisal Adamu is my name and i’m a university graduate specializing in Accounting in Ghana.

In Ghana, there are many female head porters normally adults and children (teenagers). These female head porters normally don’t have shelter and this leads to rapes, unwanted pregnancies, murder, robbery and prostitution.

During this covid19 season, these female head porters easily get the virus more than any other person. These female head porters always go about carrying loads for people to get paid. By the exchange of the money and any other transmitted items, they easily get the virus in our society. The female head porters leaves their far away towns to the capital town of Ghana and other regions which has large markets in order to find their daily bread.

Other female head porters also bring their new born babies along because of the high rate of poverty. However, these new born babies really suffer during this covid19 season and are exposed to several diseases such as cholera, malaria(no good place to sleep in the night), snake bites and many more. This Covid19 season made the work very tough for the female head porters to work and get their daily breads. Therefore, most of the female head porters normally crown themselves in one room and they are not even practicing social distancing because there is no money to rent.

Also, the teenagers female porters are not able to be sent to school because their parents do not have money to cater for their educations. Most of these teenagers are intelligent and have more visions but with no support.

This fund raising is needed in order to help the babies get good food and good health care. This funds will help provide a proper room where two persons can occupy at a time to help stop the spread the virus. The funds will also assist the teenagers in proper education.
