Story

15 mile hike to Mam Tor

Hayley , Cat, Kim, Katie, Lauren, Megan, Heidi, Aimee

, as many of you know our lovely friend and fellow school mum passed away peacefully on the first February after being diagnosed with bowel cancer the previous year .

Jo was a remarkable lady , in the face of this devastating diagnosis she showed amazing courage and strength. She always had time for others and faced it all with good humour. An inspirational lady mummy to three beautiful children, loving wife to Dave., we have all been hit hard by this loss and wanted to do something to raise awareness of this awful illness therefore we are planning to walk 15 miles in the peak district on 23rd march climbing Mam Tor and watching the sunrise . At the top we will raise a glass of prosecco for Jo and remember her beautiful soul. Any money received will be given to Bowel Babe (who fund research into bowel cancer and raise awareness of early signs and symptoms)

* Please consider donating to this worthwhile cause -anything you can spare is valued and will make a difference.
