Story
The Ronald McDonald House sits onsite at Crumlin Children’s Hospital. It houses 20 families a night of sick children from across Ireland. Since opening 15 years ago it has been a home to over 4,000 families from across the island of Ireland.
The past few months have been tough for all Irish households and The Ronald McDonald House has been no different. Coronavirus has disrupted the lives of families of sick children cruelly, and it continues to complicate their already turbulent lives. Through it all the House continued to be a crucial lifeline for them, and they are working tirelessly to keep it open to the end of 2020.
Their fundraising income is at risk and they’ve already estimated the loss of vital donations to be in the hundreds of thousands. So, we're asking you to push through the kilometres and cycle for The Ronald McDonald House. With your help we can be there for those who need us most.
We‘re challenging you to cycle 100, 250 or 500 kms in 30 days. Joim Team RCSI to sign up, track your kms and raise vital funds to help us keep a roof over the head of the families of Ireland's sickest children.
