On 10th and 11th of December 2021 I’m going to be attempting to run 4.2 miles on the hour every hour for 24 hours (100 miles in total) to raise money for Jersey Hospice and The Shelter Trust, both of which helped my Step-Dad Pete in the years and days before he passed in October this year. Pete was a Step-Dad to me from the age of 3 and also a Dad to Aimee and Brad. DMy memories of him in my younger years are of fun and laughter, lots of football, holidays and being carried up to bed every night by this great man. Unfortunately he had some dark days later on in life and turned to alcohol which eventually led to him relying on The Shelter Trust. He passed away from cancer in October at the age of 61.
