I'm doing a cross country bike ride in order to raise funds for the National Sports Center for the Disabled.

The NSCD offers adaptive lessons for individuals and groups of people with disabilities in a variety of action sports, adventure sports and competitive programs. Athletes with any physical, cognitive, emotional or behavioral diagnosis can participate in sports and recreation programs year-round in Colorado’s Front Range and mountains.

In 2016 I had the opportunity to race with a paralympic athlete and was incredibly inspired by Ron's Story. 6 years previous, he suffered a snowboarding accident which left him paralyzed from the waist down. Over the past 2 years, he's been working with the NSCD and has now qualified to be a paralympic athlete.
