We are a group of friends taking part in 'Walk your Ridgeway', a half marathon (13.1 mile) walk to raise much needed funds for the Hospice of St Francis, Berkhamsted.

3 years ago we lost our gorgeous friend Nicola to bladder cancer. She fought hard for 2 years against this cruel disease but lost her battle on the 4th April 2018. Nicola spent her final few weeks at The Hospice of St Francis in Berkhamsted. The Hospice were amazing, not only in their care for Nic but also for her family and us, her friends. They made it possible for us to be together as a group of 10 in Nicola's final days to say goodbye and to make our last precious memories together and for that we will be eternally grateful. The Hospice is the most beautiful place offering such wonderful care for people at the most difficult of times and has been hit hard by the loss of fundraising during the pandemic so we would like to be part of helping to raise some much needed funds
