It's time to Step up for 30 this April. Its really simple, just get active each day throughout the month and ask your friends, family and colleagues to sponsor you.

Story

We are taking part in Step up for 30 to raise money for Bowel Cancer UK. They're the UK's leading bowel cancer charity and are determined to save lives and improve the quality of life of everyone affected by bowel cancer

.
On the 14th April 2021 our fantastic husband & dad, Charlie Was diagnosed with Bowel Cancer. Two weeks later we were given a further blow when we were advised that the cancer had spread to his liver.

With this news removing the tumour became impossible as reducing the tumours on the liver became the priority.

Before this happened we knew very little about bowel cancer, how many people it affects and how important it is that it is caught early. Charlie’s cancer was discovered following screening for which we will always be thankful.
Bowel cancer is the UK's second biggest cancer killer with more than 16,500 people dying annually of a disease that is preventable, treatable and curable. I'm determined to help Bowel Cancer UK to change that. The money you donate will help to provide support and information to patients and their families, enable them to fund and support research into bowel cancer and to campaign for early diagnosis and best treatment and care for all.
