Story
Welcome to a page that I hope will help in funding research into finding a way to improve the lives of those with pancreatic cancer after me, to have a better chance of survival.
If you are here, you are now aware I am running the London Marathon on the 4th October. Yes, legit, the whole 42Kms. What better way to celebrate 6 months of a short term terminal illness and chemotherapy. No, I am not going to LONDON, I am running/walking/crawling it in Adelaide, via a virtual link to the event in London.
Yes it is going to be hard, but it is a way of me ticking a life goal, showing cancer it can get F**KED, showing my Oncologist (who is amazing) that I will make it past my 12 month diagnosis. Some of you have said I may be a little crazy or a little stubborn, this may go a long way to prove your point. I have two amazing friends, Sam Driver and Dave Scarman, who have agreed to drag me over the line on the day, so surely they are crazier than I am!!!
SO why, why not? It is not to prove I am strong or to show my doctors I am going to prove them wrong. It is to help others like me, inspire others, and show that nothing is impossible...I hope, and simply...well, "F**K Cancer"!
