Story
On 26th July 2020, we'll swimming, cycling, and running absurd distances over the South Hams in order to support the Royal Marines Charity. The swim leg is 2.4 miles, the bike ride 112 miles, and the route along the coast path 26 miles.
Some will be doing the whole event, some "just" a phase. Such is the nature of the terrain that the cycle alone is the equivalent of going from sea level to the summit of Ben Nevis twice, and the marathon the equivalent of running from sea level to the top of Scafell Pike - the tallest peak in England.
Every Royal Marines Iron Challenge team member will be doing their bit to raise money to support Royal Marines veterans, their dependents, and the wider Marines Family. It's our chance to give a little something for those who have given so much.
Please support us, and help to raise a decent sum on the day. Thanks so much
