We provide whole family care and support to those living with life-limiting illness

Story

We are cycling round the steep and dangerous mountains of Shropshire in an effort to raise money for the Severn Hospice. The Hospice team cared for our great friend, the much loved Huw 'King of the Lions' Peach. Huw was diagnosed with an inoperable brain tumour, and the Hospice team supported Huw and his beautiful family; Sophie, Millie, Sam and Zak to the end. On April 16th some of the Lions of Lycra will be taking on the 100 mile challenge (they are the very fit young Lions), others are taking on the 68 mile challenge (they are not as fit as they think they are and will suffer!), other more realistic Lions are aiming for a 40 mile ride. Please support us, the Peach family and the Hospice by donating. The Lions are: Giles Bell, Richard Jenkins, David Wray, Richard Case, Will Reynolds, Dan Nicholas, Fenella Nicholas, Tim Crosskey, Seb Cooley, Henry Exham, Nick David, Steffan McMillan, Henry Bennett, Andy Keulemans, Rob Wilson, Andrew Pembleton, Katie David, Zac Peach, Sam Peach, Jo Hughes, Andy Weston, Sam Hughes, Michael Barratt, Paul Fitzgerald, Guy Painter, Giles Latcham, Katie Thomas, Josh Burbidge, Kim Burbidge, Michael Cripps, Clare Wearden, Guy Peach, Felicity Peach, Tim Peach, Emma Peach. Alexandra Peach, Jenny Davis, Richard Kowenicki, Ellie Lyell, Naomi Pritchard, Ken Welby, Carla Howarth, Carey Cropper, Howard Peach, Laura Elliott, Ed Evans .

Severn Hospice provides specialist care and emotional support for families in Shropshire, Telford & Wrekin and Mid Wales living with an incurable illness. All our care is provided for free, but it is not without cost - we have to raise £2 for every £3 we spend. It's because you care that we can.
