Walk of Hope is our annual national event raising money to bring hope to brain tumour patients and their families. It will take place on Saturday 28th September 2024, or you can organise your own Walk of Hope any day in September that suits you.

Story

Walk of Hope is an annual national event raising money to bring hope to brain tumour patients and their families.

Me (Jamie) & my sister (Emily) and kids are doing a sponsored walk on behalf of a very dear loved one of mine, Linda Alexander. Sadly, shes been diagnosed with a brain tumour called glioblastoma. She’s an amazing woman and anyone who's met her will know this. Shes saved peoples lives personally and been through a lot in her own life but shes got a huge heart and has helped many. I really hope that with all the people doing this sponsored walk and all the funds we raise collectively, we can help find a cure for our special Linda and every other person affected by a brain tumour.

Brain tumours kill more children and adults under the age of 40 than any other cancer. Just 1% of the national spend on cancer research has been allocated to this disease. We are a leading voice calling for support and action for research into what is called the last battleground against cancer.
