Story
The impact of the pandemic on the NHS affected effective cancer diagnosis and treatment, significantly. At Lostock Hall Academy, many of our staff and their loved ones know this too well. Therefore, Helen Archibald, (who lost both parents and her uncle to cancer, in a matter of weeks of each other, following the pandemic) has rallied a team to complete the Snowdon Sunrise Challenge (walking through the night to watch the sun rise at the peak of beautiful Snowdon). In support of Helen and others, Team LHA will be completing the Snowdon Sunrise Challenge on September 24th. Monies raised by the Snowdon Sunrise Challenge will be donated to Clatterbridge Cancer Hospital, where Helen's Mum was cared for last September.
Your donation, no matter its financial amount, is hugely appreciated.
Clatterbridge Cancer Charity are here to support the patients, staff, and work of The Clatterbridge Cancer Centre, and this is where we need you! Climb Snowdon, feel the thrill of achieving something amazing, and raise money to support those who need Clatterbridge right now, and in the future.
