Every 14 minutes, someone in the UK is diagnosed with blood cancer! This September, as part of Blood Cancer Awareness Month, join the nation and take on the "Your14" challenge.

Story

This September, I will be taking part in Cure Leukaemia's "Your14" Challenge.

Why? Because every 14 minutes, someone in the UK is diagnosed with blood cancer. Its time to end this!

Cure Leukaemia was established in 2003 and supports patients with blood cancer cross the United Kingdom. Cure leukaemia supports a Trials Acceleration Programme (TAP), funding clinical trials nurses in 12 centres including in Leeds. The Trials Acceleration Programme network allows patients to be connected with world-class and potentially lifesaving treatment that would otherwise not be available to them.

The Leeds Team includes Consultant Haematologists, Research Nurses and the Trials Coordination admin team and they are excited to be involved in fundraising to help raise money for these important studies for our patients.

Please support us by completing a Your14 Challenge of contributing to our various events

Cure Leukaemia fund research nurses at 15 hospitals across the UK. These roles form the Trials Acceleration Programme (TAP) network giving patients, from a catchment area of 30m, access to potentially life-saving treatments through clinical trials, with plans to fund a paediatric network on the way.
