We are KCL Smile Society and we aim to promote the message of good oral health within our community. One way we achieve this is by fundraising for charities with similar aims, which is why we are participating in the Mouth Cancer 10KM Awareness Walk to help fundraise for Mouth Cancer Foundation!

Mouth Cancer Foundation raises awareness and support for mouth cancer. They aim to inform people about the signs, symptoms, risk factors, facts and figures, and key causes of mouth cancer.

According to Mouth Cancer Foundation, there are almost 9000 cases of mouth cancer in the UK each year. Last year, 3034 people died due to mouth cancer and this disease affects 650,000 people per year worldwide.

We would be so grateful for any donation to help us raise funds for Mouth Cancer Foundation and help raise awareness about such an important health issue!
