Raising money for The Brain Tumour Charity

Inverness Half Marathon 2024 · 10 March 2024 ·

We are moving further, faster to help everyone affected by a brain tumour

Story

Recently my little sister, having faced a brain tumour diagnosis with strength and bravery, devastatingly passed away just 2 months after initial diagnosis. Katy was only 33 and leaves a huge hole within our family. A massive turnout at her funeral was a testament to her impact in her short life, and she will be very sadly missed.

To honour Katy's memory, a group of her family and friends (Team Katy) are undertaking the Inverness Half Marathon in March to raise funds for The Brain Tumour Charity. Brain tumours are the biggest cancel killer of people under 40, yet only 2% of cancer funding is allocated to brain tumour research.

Any and all donations to Team Katy are much appreciated.
