Story
Hi
My story starts with my step mum Cilla she was diagnose with small cell cancer in September 2017, she then later developed a secondary in her spine called leptomeningeal in February this year which she was only given 2-3 month left. If anyone knows Cilla she is a very strong and stubborn woman who will not let this get the better of her. Although it has effected her nerves in her hands and feet and has very limited use in her arms she is still soldiering on though! Sobell house and the palliativeCare team have been amazing with anything she needs they are there to support her so that she can stay in the comfort of her own home and be cared for by each and everyone of our family! So in honour of my step mum and sobell house I would like to raise as much money as possible and I have decided to run the Oxford half marathon for sobell house they need the money to carry on with all the amazing work they do.
Thankyou you for reading my story and any donation with be very much appreciated

For 43 years, Sobell House Hospice has been providing specialist palliative care to adults with advanced, progressive illnesses and supporting families facing loss.
Each year, they provide more than 3,000 people in Oxfordshire with the care they need on their ward, day centre, in the local hospitals and in the community.
By making a donation to my cause you are helping to make sure that more people can get the care they need.
