Some of the nurses and doctors from the High Dependency Unit and their very supportive families and friends are climbing Snowdon at night to raise funds for HDU. We would love to raise enough to buy specialist equipment that will help to improve the care we give to our patients on HDU.

To do that we are hoping to raise £9000 to buy a transcutaneous carbon dioxide monitor so that we can measure the CO2 levels of our ventilated patients without having to do blood samples - reducing the pain and discomfort to our patients!

We did it! 6 hours and we made it to the peak just before sunrise!

It was tough but the views were well worth it!
