Story
The Gray family and hearing dog Lulu are going to do walk around Tittersworth reservoir on Sunday 1st November to raise money for hearing dogs.. as you may know we welcomed the beautiful Lulu into our lives in August and already could not do without her. We would love to help give someone else the chance to have A ‘Lulu’ and you could help us too. The smallest amount counts so thank you very much in advance x
Every Penny we raise will help more life-changing pup's-in-training who will one day transform a deaf persons life.
Hearing dogs are highly trained to alert deaf people to important and life-saving sounds, such as the smoke alarm, alarm clocks and even intruder alarms and baby monitors. They also provide lots of love, companionship and emotional support, which is really important as many deaf people can feel lonely and isolated.
The charity receives no central government funding and it costs £25,000 to fully train an accredited hearing dog, so The Great British Dog Walk is a great way to raise funds to train more dogs. Any donation, however large or small, will really help.
Thank you.
