Thank you so much for coming to visit our fund raising page. We hope this page will give insight as to why we are challenging ourselves to help raise money for the Alzheimer’s Society.

Alzheimer’s is the most common cause of dementia that impacts so many world wide. Our family’s have all been through, and continue to experience the impact this horrific degenerative brain disease has, on those diagnosed, their carers, family and friends.

We wanted to raise money for this fantastic charity and do our bit, however small, to support the research and aid they give to those affected. Thank you to to all the charity staff for all they do!

Why “Go Green”?

The name connects all those involved in the team! From Katie’s wonderful Dad (Peter) who’s racing car was called Go Green, racing at brands hatch back in the day! To Jo & Jon’s amazing mum Anne whose maiden name was Green. Both loved by so many!

What is Trek 26 (Cotswold)

Trek for loved ones, and raise money to support people devastated by dementia. Explore the rural landscape of the Cotswolds as you trek through ancient woodlands, wildflower meadows and historic Cotswold stone villages.

The Charity

The Alzheimer’s Societies mission is to transform the landscape of dementia forever. Until the day we find a cure, we will strive to create a society where those affected by dementia are supported and accepted, able to live in their community without fear or prejudice.

Our Teams Aim

The team consists of 7 members all aiming to raise £300 each. Walking together, supporting each other, remembering those we love and the journey we are on together.
