Take to the stairs, get sponsored, and help end poverty. The only way is up (and down again).

Story

We are fundraising for Tearfund so that people living in poverty will be better equipped to deal with the devastation of coronavirus. Whilst in lockdown, we are taking on The Climb challenge by walking up and down our stairs like nutters, to reach the equivalent of climbing Ben Nevis, the Four Peaks or even Kilimanjaro!!!

Our team of 11 people will be ascending a total of 46,500 metres over the course of two weeks. Here are the challenges everyone is doing; Ben Nevis - Tiffany, Philip, WingKa. Four Peaks - Rebecca, Joey, Sherlock. Kilimanjaro - Santiago, Shunsuke, Barry, Sven, Tommy. That amounts to an equivalent of going up and down Mount Everest 4 times, Mont Blanc once, Mount Fuji once and then the Burg Khalifa thrice!

We're starting to see the impact coronavirus is having on some of the poorest communities. In places with poor healthcare and less infrastructure the potential for devastation increases.

By sponsoring us, you will help Tearfund's work, including promoting hygiene practices, providing food for those in quarantine and building hand washing stations. Every £120 donated helps Tearfund fund projects all over the world to respond to this humanitarian crisis. We CAN make a difference, even in our confinement!
