On Friday 17th March 2023 we are holding our own version of Strictly Dance to raise much needed funds for Dr Kershaw's Hospice.

Story

Our Dad passed away in June 2022 at Dr Kershaw's Hospice, Shaw after a 2 year battle with cancer. We cannot thank the hospice enough for the incredible treatment he received and allowing him to go peacefully, surrounded by his family, in comfort and with the utmost dignity, but we can help them raise as much money as possible. Nothing can ever replace our wonderful Dad but we want to raise as much money as we can for this incredible hospice, so that other people can benefit from their wonderful care. Not just for their patients, but the support they give to families, even months later as we have found, now being carers for our 94 year old mum,

which we can tell you at first hand is just invaluable.

In our first fundraiser, we will be taking part, on Friday 17th March 2023, in the Strictly dance competition and your support would be amazing! We will be one of 12 couples taking part at the Queen Elizabeth Hall in Oldham in front of a live audience and a panel of judges to try to take home the Glitter Ball trophy.

We both danced Latin and Ballroom when we were younger, but it's been over 30 years since we put on our dancing shoes and we are not as young and flexible as we used to be so it's been a challenge! We are currently in training with a professional dance tutor and hope that you will support us in our efforts.
Anything you can give would be much appreciated to help us raise as much money as possible for Dr Kershaw's.

Thank you
