Story
Our big brother Tom became very poorly just after he was born, he has cerebral palsy, complex epilepsy and is registered blind. He cannot walk and is in a wheelchair. EACH hospice at Milton has provided much needed short breaks for Tom as well as support and respite for our parents since Tom was 3 years old , he is now 16 !
The three of us have benefited from the sibling days that the hospice runs.
We would like to raise some money for EACH to say thank you for all they have done for Tom and our family. We are going to do 100 miles of exercise in the month of February please help us raise some much needed funds!
The extending pressure of the pandemic means EACHs care is more important than ever. Families who have been shielding and self-isolating become exhausted from providing care alone. EACH have adapted the delivery of many services to continue to support families in different and innovative ways including online counselling, music and art therapy and online groups for bereavement and so much more.
We support families and care for children and young people with life-threatening conditions across East Anglia. Our family-centred approach includes specialist nursing care, symptom management support, short breaks, wellbeing activities, therapies and counselling; all meeting the individual needs of the child, young person and whole family.
We offer families flexibility and control over where they receive their care and support; at home, in hospital or at one of three hospices. Your donations will help EACH continue to provided outstanding care during the pandemic.
