UPDATE 20 May: Eleanor did the final 3km across the finish line and we are 'home'! Thank you so much to everyone for your encouragement and support throughout the last weeks. Cycling has been a great activity to keep us busy and motivated towards the end of treatment, and you have helped support two amazing charities with your donations - and absolutely smashed our original target of £250 for each one! It's great to be home!

We are raising funds for two charities that do amazing work for children in East Anglia and Yorkshire. Eleanor has been helped during her journey to bone marrow transplant by the brilliant team at Addenbrookes, and now that we are in Leeds the lovely Candlelighters are making life in complete isolation much easier for her. Eleanor and I are fundraising by cycling the 250km from Leeds General Infirmary back to Cambridge, on an exercise bike in our isolation room! Please support Addenbrookes Charitable Trust and the Candlelighters Trust, and cheer us on with your suggestions of places we should 'visit' along the way!

We have made separate pages explaining the amazing work of each of these two charities and what they have done to help us and other families, as well as the work they are raising funds for.
