Story

Hello!

Throughout April, the four of us (Des Oldham, Kay Oldham, Dawn Warren and Ian Warren) will be taking part in either the Brighton or London Marathon to raise funds for Footprints Conductive Education Centre.

Des's marathon is part of a much bigger, year-long challenge which will culminate in the Coast2Coast in September, and Kay, Dawn and Ian all decided to put our best foot forward (for 26.2 miles) to support Des and this fantastic charity.

Having completed several marathons before, both Kay and Ian had said last year they weren't going to do anymore...but when Footprints offered them a place in the Brighton Marathon, they couldn't resist the chance to get stuck in.

London will be Dawn's first ever marathon, after being lucky enough to snap up an elusive ballot place. Always keen to help where she can, Dawn decided to use her ballot place to also raise funds and awareness for Footprints.

Although all dedicated runners, all four of us face our own challenges with our hobby, so every bit of support we can help push us towards our target and get us to the finishing line, will be very much appreciated!
