Story

Last June, Annabelle lost her beautiful mum Suzanne to cancer. Suzanne was such a wonderful person, so full of warmth and fun and we all feel so privileged to have known her.

Suzanne was cared for by St Francis Hospice, but they didn’t only provide the most incredible care for her, they also looked after our Annabelle and her family during the most difficult days.

Like so many hospices around the country, St Francis is funded almost entirely by charitable donations. But times are tough and the cost of living crisis means more and more hospices are struggling.

We’re raising money in Suzanne’s memory for St Francis’ so that they can keep caring for future families the way they cared for hers. Together, our group of six friends will be running St Francis’ Bubble Rush - expect lots of silly outfits and glitter and our best attempt at athleticism...

NOTE: our team name is 'Cartel' because one of our university lecturers once called us a 'cartel of mediocracy' - never forget.
